Volonteurope Board Member
Marcos is an economist and CSR expert. He has experience in CSR, sustainability and corporative volunteering. He works in a social consultancy and as a CSR teacher in the International School of Event Management & Communication, ISEMCO- University Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid.
Marcos is a trainer and tutor of VOL+ Initiative, the certification programme of the skills acquired while volunteering of the Spanish Volunteering Platform.
Marcos has lead the Technical Team in developing the standards and procedures required by EU Aid Volunteers and in curating initiative guidelines for preparing organisations for the European project “Bringing the value of volunteers and CSOs to a EU humanitarian response: achieving high quality standards, outreaching active EU citizens, reinforcing our civil society capacities to respond to humanitarian crisis”.
Marcos was one of the Spanish participants in the European Year of Volunteering 2011 and Policy Agenda for Volunteering in Europe, PAVE.
Marcos believes in people’s power to improve the world, making more sensitive, fairer, more diverse and better for all.
