Erasmus+ are calling for applicants to take part in a returned volunteers training course – hosted in the Czech Republic
Taking place between 30 September and 5 October 2016, the training course is aimed at people who have worked in the global south and are keen to bring their experiences back to their home communities. Additionally, the course will provide an opportunity to meet other returned volunteers from across Europe. It will bring these returned volunteers together with experts from across the Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland and the UK, and provide a space for discussions on next steps as a volunteer, and the volunteer’s role in the ‘bigger picture’ of change-making and wave-riding. Furthermore, as part of the course the volunteers will prepare an Action Project. This project has the aim of enabling participants to put their experience and skills into practice for change-making in their home communities.
Expenses for all international travel costs, accommodation and food will be covered for you. Successful applicants will be asked to book their own flights, and we will reimburse this upon completion of the course in October.
Places for the training are limited, and unfortunately we cannot accept all applicants.
