Thursday the 18th of October 2018, Imago Mundi organised a conference for promoting the EU Aid Volunteers and encouraging NGOs from Romania to pursue the path for certification so that they become sending organisations within the initiative.
Representatives of 10 active organisations in the field of volunteering and humanitarian aid from Romania attended the event: ASER, Romanian Business Leaders, Curba de Cultură, International Community of the Young, AEGEE, Asociatia Point of Vyou, Asociatia pentru Dialog si Valori Universale, ATCE – Speranta Ramniceana , Asociatia ART Fusion, Asociatia Compartir.
The conference unfolded at the European Public Space of the EU Commission Representation in Romania, strada Vasile Lascăr, nr. 31, Bucharest.

The participants found out about how they can access the initiative, examples of best practice from our partners from + Care project, and valuable info about the Initiative, as well as info about the + Care project and our future activities aimed at providing technical assistance to NGOs interested in joining EU Aid Volunteers. + Care project is coordinated by Alianza por la Solidaridad from Spainand has as partners Volonteurope from UK, Imago Mundi from Romania, Action Aid Hellas from Greece , GVC, Action Aid Italia from Italy and LVIA from Italy.
