Having changed its name from CSV earlier this year, Volonteurope’s UK member Volunteering Matters released the first edition of its newsletter in November.

Aimed at a wide variety of stakeholders, the newsletter is a great way to find out what Volunteering Matters cares about, what they have been doing recently, and how others can get involved. You can subscribe to the newsletter here.

Notes to Editors

Volonteurope is an international network promoting volunteering, active citizenship and social justice in Europe and beyond. Volonteurope works at all levels, from the local to the international, and across the public, private and third sectors, facilitating exchange, fostering collaboration, and carrying out research and advocacy.

Volunteering Matters, formerly known as CSV, is a national charity leading UK volunteering in policy and practice. We believe that everyone can play a role in their community and should have the chance to participate; we build volunteering projects and programmes to reflect this. We focus on the needs of four distinct communities; older and retired people, disabled people, vulnerable families and young people. We engage over 35,000 volunteers every year, and currently have 150 active programmes across the UK.
