Volonteurope, Volunteering Matters and SOLIDAR would like to invite you for an evening reception to talk about volunteering, solidarity and European values.
Learn more about the work of Volonteurope and SOLIDAR, two European networks at the forefront of the struggle for social justice in Europe and beyond. It will be a chance to meet and explore possibilities for collaboration while getting to know about our ongoing projects and engaging research.
Recent work of both networks will be presented, including Volonteurope’s research on access to youth rights and the role of civil society organisations and volunteering; a study on youth participation, the Active Citizenship Footprint and a collection of good practices on the measurement of the social impact of volunteering. SOLIDAR will showcase their Social Progress Watch, their work on migration, mobility and social protection.
Volonteurope is an international network promoting volunteering, active citizenship and social justice. Their mission is to work collaboratively with members and partners to champion the role of volunteering and active citizenship as pathways for social justice in Europe and beyond.
SOLIDAR is a European network of Civil Society Organisations working to advance social justice in Europe and worldwide. With over 60 member organisations based in 27 countries (22 of which are EU countries), member organisations are national CSOs in Europe, as well as some non-EU and EU-wide organisations. SOLIDAR’s work is divided in three pillars: Together for Social Europe; Building Learning Societies; and Organising International Solidarity.
The evening will be an opportunity to form new partnerships and strengthen existing ones, and to discuss European values over a glass of wine and some nibbles.
