Project “WakeUP” completed and compilation of resources now available online

During the last two years, “Gemeinsam leben und lernen in Europa” (GLL) has encouraged young people to start volunteering and make real changes to their communities. Teaming up with volunteering organisations from Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Norway, North Macedonia, Romania and the UK, GLL created a plethora of inspiring workshops and action formats to promote democracy, a European mindset, and active citizenship.

Successful activities developed and implemented as part of the project “WakeUP – Young Europeans becoming Change Makers for a better Europe” include climate change demonstrations, integration projects for refugees, human rights workshops and campaigns to encourage young people to vote.

A diverse set of concrete workshop curricula, campaigns, and hands-on methods are now available online at www.wakeup-europe.eu!
